Voting records are maintained at the county level, so the links
below should normally be your starting place. However, if you are
conducting a voter registration drive, you may want to print out copies
of the
Registration
Form
or contact the County Clerk for printed forms.
Notes on Voter Registration
-
To be eligible to vote in an election in the State of Utah, you must register to vote using the address of your primary residence.
-
Registration is a simple process of completing a Voter Registration Form in person or through the mail.
-
All U.S. citizens who are at least 17 years of age and who are residents of Utah may register to vote. However, you will not be eligible to vote until you are 18 years old! Your application will be put on hold and your voter
identification card will be sent to you when you turn 18.
-
By-mail voter registration ends 20 days prior to an election, but a voter may register in person in the Clerk/Auditor's office up until 7 days prior to an election.
-
There is also a two day special Satellite Registration for the Municipal Primary and General elections, that is held at convenient public locations throughout the County for those who miss the 20 day cut-off deadline.
