Each state has two US Senators. Your US Senators are the same no matter where you live in the state. Based off of the population of the state, a certain number of Representatives are allocated. Utah has four. These two chambers make up congress. You have two senators and one representative who represent you in congress.

Utah's legislature makes the laws for the state. The lawmaking session only happens once a year. It begins in January and ends in March.

Utah's legislature has 75 representatives and 29 senators. You have one of each that represent you in the State Legislature. Next, we'll find out who those folks are.
