Representative Rosemary Lesser was elected to the Utah legislature in January 2021 following the death of Representative Lou Shurtliff.  She grew up in an Air Force family, stationed at several bases in the US and Europe.  She was a member of the first class of women to graduate from Notre Dame.  After serving in the Air Force for 15 years herself, she settled in Ogden in 1992, caring for women as an OB/GYN doctor.  She is married to Dave Lesser, who is also an Air Force veteran and physician.   She is the mother of three children and three stepchildren and has ten grandchildren.  She uses her medical expertise as a member of the legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee, where she fights to help provide quality, affordable health care for all Utah residents.  She is honored to represent House District 10 and welcomes input from her constituents.  Please contact her to voice your concerns about the issues that affect you, your family, and your neighborhood.
